Een Grammy-nominatie op zak voordat er een debuutalbum uit is, een internationale hit met het eerste samen geschreven nummer ‘Drinkee’ en een featuring in de reclame van Apple Watch: je kunt wel zeggen dat Sofi Tukker een droomstart had in 2016. Het in New York gestationeerde duo Sophie Hawley-Weld en Tucker Halpern maakt door 90’s house geïnspireerde junglepop. Nummers die vrolijk, catchy en slim in elkaar zitten. De eerste EP ‘Soft Animals’ en debuutalbum 'Treehouse' werden als de eerste single een groot succes en zorgde voor tientallen miljoenen streams. Het best scoorden ze met single 'Best Friend' afkomstig van dat eerste album. De komende tijd verschijnen er twee mini-albums van het duo, waarvan 'Fantasy' de eerste single is.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
