De Amerikaanse songwriter en muzikant Lindsey Jordan bracht op achttienjarige leeftijd een van de meest besproken debuutalbums van 2018 uit. Als Snail Mail maakte ze met ‘Lush’ een knappe indierockplaat vol lo-fi slackerpop en lome vocalen. De grote indiebelofte trad al eens met haar band op in Paradiso tijdens London Calling en als onderdeel van een avond met meerdere concerten, nu komt ze terug voor haar eigen clubshow, in het kader van haar nieuwe album 'Valentine'. Hiervoor ontving ze van Pitchfork niet alleen een 8,5 maar ook de titel 'Best New Music'. "Lindsey Jordan’s exquisite second album documents love in all stages, but mostly in disrepair", schreef Pitchfork over het album.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
