Er zijn drie belangrijke elementen in het leven van de bandleden van Skegss: surfen, skaten en muziek maken. De verbindende factor is keihard feest vieren, zoals ze dat alleen in Australië kunnen. Na twee EP's volgde het debuutalbum 'My Own Mess' op het Ratbag label van hun grote broers Dune Rats. Daarop vind je de hyper-aanstekelijke nummer 'Spring Has Sprung'. Liveshows staan vanzelfsprekend gelijk aan ultieme chaos.
