Het Nederlandse Shishani & Miss Catharsis maakt 'stijlvolle indie-soul met super elegante sound'. De eclectische band is opgericht door de meermaals bekroonde singer-songwriter en activist Shishani, met Belgische en Namibische roots. Ze is onder andere bekend van haar project Shishani & Namibian Tales, waarmee ze wereldwijd tourde. Samen met muzikanten Chrissie Quast, Jaimie van Hek en Ceciel Moyano brengt de band cutting edge songs met een bad ass stage presence. 'Catharsis' betekent 'zuivering', 'reiniging' of 'opheldering'. Door inspiratie te putten uit hun verschillende achtergronden vertellen ze krachtige verhalen in genre- overschrijdende muziek.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
