De Engelse singer-songwriter Andrew "Roo" Panes werd bekend in zijn thuisland door zijn deelname aan een Burberry-campagne (zowel als model als muzikant). Met zijn twaalfsnarige gitaar maakt Panes fijne, hypnotiserende muziek en brengt hij sinds 2011 muziek uit. In juni kwam zijn derde album 'Quiet Man', opnieuw een bundel vol mooie klassieke folkliedjes. De Brit toont gelijkenissen met artiesten als Ben Howard, Sufjan Stevens en Bon Iver, die net als Panes persoonlijke en tijdloze nummers maken, maar altijd met een positieve twist.

Dit concert is uitverkocht, maar er zijn nog tickets beschikbaar voor het concert van Roo Panes op vrijdag 22 maart in de concertzaal Paradiso Noord.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
