Onder alias Romare maakt de Britse Archie Fairhurst elektronische collages: speels, direct en gebaseerd op Romares obsessieve onderzoek naar bronmateriaal van over de hele wereld, waaronder soul, blues, jazz en disco.
Met 'Fantasy' uit 2022, breidt de producer dit geluid op abstractere wijze verder uit. Op dit project zijn elementen van fantasyfilms uit de jaren 70 verwerkt en in een jasje van Romares kenmerkende ritmische electronica gestoken. De release van Fantasy markeert ook de start van Romares gloednieuwe platenlabel 'YOU SEE'.
