Sinds 2016 brengt Roland Cristal technoproducties uit waarin internetsamples en stemmen uit zijn kindertijd samensmelten met eenvoudige en dreunende ritmes. Zijn DIY-universum heeft veel weg van het Parijse ravecollectief Dimension Bonus, maar soms ook van de atonale melodieën van Mr. Oizo of de minimalistische arrangementen van Kraftwerk.

De Franse producer heeft drie albums uitgebracht, waarvan de laatste, 'Menhirs', in maart 2024 het licht zag. Na een uitverkochte show in Bitterzoet in datzelfde jaar, keert Roland in 2025 terug naar Amsterdam.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
