Sinds 2016 brengt Roland Cristal lofi technoproducties uit waarin samples van het internet en stemmen uit zijn kindertijd samensmelten met eenvoudige, ritmische en vooral dreunende drums. De Franse producer heeft twee albums uitgebracht, waarvan 'On veut plus d’océans – L’album de tous les danger' in oktober 2022 het licht zag. Zijn DIY-universum heeft veel weg van het Parijse ravecollectief Dimension Bonus (bekend van Salut C'est Cool), maar soms ook van de atonale melodieën van Mr. Oizo of de minimalistische arrangementen van Kraftwerk.Â
