De in Berkeley geboren Rexx Life Raj, oftewel Faraji Wright, ontwikkelde zijn liefde voor muziek via de kerk en zijn moeder. Op zesjarige leeftijd werd hij verliefd op rap, maar zijn voetbalcarrière en zijn studie waren op dat moment nog zijn prioriteiten. Toch veranderde hij van koers en bracht hij in 2014 zijn eerste twee EP's 'Hidden Clouds' en 'Portraits' uit. Faraji's discografie is acht jaar later inmiddels een eclectische verzameling van tracks die duidelijk beïnvloed zijn door de sound van de Bay Area. Zijn meest recente toevoeging 'The Blue Hour' kwam dit jaar uit en beaamt dit. Introspectieve, zangerige teksten over Bay Area beats, met een gastoptreden van Larry June.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
