Op 24 oktober komt de iconische soul en r&b zanger Raphael Saadiq terug naar Paradiso. Al jaren staat de Amerikaanse muzikant garant voor ouderwets soulvol vakmanschap op hoog niveau. Saadiq brak in de jaren ‘80 door als lid van R&B-formatie Tony! Toni! Toné! en bleef in de daaropvolgende jaren ook zeer succesvol als soloartiest en begenadigd songschrijver en producer voor artiesten als Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, D'Angelo en Solange. Voor augustus 2019 staat er eindelijk weer een nieuw soloalbum op de planning. Het album draagt de naam 'Jimmy Lee' en is zijn eerste werk in acht jaar tijd. De eerste single ‘Something Keeps Calling’ is inmiddels al te beluisteren.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
