Aaron Maine maakt pakkende slaapkamer-synthpop onder de naam Porches. Zijn hoge stem verrijkt de zwoele liedjes, die enerzijds heel kunnen relaxt zijn maar zich soms ook uitstekend lenen voor een goedgevulde dansvloer. Het derde album van de New Yorker werd in 2018 uitgebracht en viel op door de vele interessante samenwerkingen, waaronder met (Sandy) Alex G en Dev Hynes van Blood Orange. Laatstgenoemde is ook te horen op een van Maines nieuwste singles, getiteld ‘rangerover’. Zelf zegt Aaron Maine het volgende over zijn muziek: "I’ve been making music as Porches since 2009. Porches can be a country song, a dance song, a punk song, a pop song or anything in between. Porches is my love affair with music."

How to get to Bitterzoet
Bitterzoet is located close to Amsterdam Central station. From there you can walk to the venue. There are limited and busy parking lots in the area.
