De old-time Americana singer-songwriter Pokey LaFarge komt terug naar Paradiso met een nieuwe band, een nieuwe liveshow én een nieuw album. De altijd stijlvol geklede crooner uit Illinois versmelt moeiteloos folk met blues, jazz, ragtime en western swing. Hoe dat klinkt? Zowel nostalgisch als modern tegelijk. Of zoals hij het zelf het liefst omschrijft: “It’s not retro music. It’s American music that never died”. Zijn laatste, goed ontvangen album 'Manic Revelations' stamt uit 2017, begin 2020 volgt er nieuwe muziek.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
