Ploegen op rotsen. Zonder weerstand geen schoonheid. Ploegendienst is nog altijd 100% anti-alles, "zeker anti-alles wat mensen zeggen dat je moet zijn." Ploegendienst is niet die band die je vorig jaar een kroeg zag afbreken, ook al lijken ze daar misschien wel op. Ploegendienst is "constante groei", "geen angst"; een constant spanningsveld. De vier leggen elkaar het vuur aan de schenen, pulken het bloed onder elkaars nagels vandaan, en al die wrijving geeft glans op het nieuwe album 'DSM-5'.

Noem het hardcore, noem het punk, noem het "venijnige popmuziek". Noem het wat je wilt, het maakt niet uit. Ploegendienst gaat rücksichtslos te werk en bestaat alleen in het moment. Dat moment? Dan moet je de punkband rond Ray Fuego live aan het werk zien.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
