Pitou maakt melancholieke folk, geïnspireerd door de melodieën van Joni Mitchell, de mooie droefheid van Sparklehorse en de koorzang van Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares. De Amsterdamse singer-songwriter brak in 2016 door met haar debuut-EP 'Pitou'. Vanaf dat moment ging het hard: zo speelde ze op toonaangevende festivals als The Great Escape, Best Kept Secret en Into The Great Wide Open en bracht ze haar tweede, goed ontvangen EP 'I Fall Asleep So Fast' uit. Er staat ons ongetwijfeld nog veel moois te wachten in de toekomst, want op dit moment legt ze de laatste hand aan een nieuw album én mogen we haar verwelkomen voor een bijzonder en intiem Coronaproof optreden in de grote zaal van Paradiso. Ze wordt deze avond bijgestaan door haar band en het Antwerpse barok ensemble B.O.X (Baroque Orchestration X).

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
