Pinegrove is opgericht door zanger en gitarist Evan Stephens Hall en drummer Zack Levine. Ze spelen al samen sinds hun kindertijd en vormen de solide basis van de zeskoppige band. De muziek is een mengeling van indierock, pop en country. Zelf omschrijven ze hun muziek als 'introspectief feest muziek' of 'energieke folk'. Ze vonden succes hun tweede album, specifiek de hit 'Old Friends'. Even later stond de band tweemaal in Paradiso voor een soloconcert in de kleine zaal en een optreden op London Calling. Onlangs bracht de band de eerste single van hun aankomende album '11:11' uit. Het album gaat onder andere over de klimaatcrisis en klinkt zowel hoopvol als boos.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
