De tweelingbroers Jack en Patrick Pierce uit Melbourne maken indiefolk waarin ook elementen te vinden zijn van roots en blues. Met veel energie staan de broers op het podium om hun nummers die veelal over persoonlijke ervaringen gaan over te brengen. De Australiërs maken sinds 2014 naam voor zichzelf en startten, net als Tash Sultana, op Bourke street in Melbourne. Vanuit daar groeide hun publiek met hen mee. De Pierce Brothers hebben ondertussen verschillende albums op hun naam staan, werkten samen met Garrett Kato en Steph Strings, fungeerden als support act van Tash Sultana en tourden de hele wereld over met hun muziek. Onlangs kwam single 'High & Unsteady' uit. Op 23 februari keren de Pierce Brothers terug naar Amsterdam.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
