Nadat Personal Trainer eerder in 2021 een spraakmakend 24-uur durend optreden via livestream gaf, is het muzikale collectief rondom Willem Smit dit najaar gelukkig weer met een offline show te zien in Paradiso Noord. De band bestaat vooral uit Amsterdamse gezichten die je kunt kennen van Canshaker Pi, Pip Blom, Steve French, Teddy’s Hit, The Klittens, Torii, Global Charming en meer. De eerste single ‘The Lazer / Stormchaser Of The Month’ kwam in 2019 uit op Holm Front, het label van de Engelse band Sports Team. Personal Trainer speelde met verschillende opstellingen op Into The Great Wide Open, London Calling en Best Kept Secret. De nieuwe EP 'Gazebo' verscheen dit jaar.

Max Hell

Max Hell is een Amsterdamse indiemuzikant, die optreedt met Nathan Schipper, Lavita Werner en Mirjam Alexander. Zijn grootste inspiratiebronnen zijn Velvet Underground, David Bowie en Nirvana. De naam 'Max Hell' is trouwens geen pseudoniem, maar staat al sinds Max' geboorte in zijn paspoort.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
