Opera Alaska is het nieuwe project van Moss-frontman Marien Dorleijn en gitarist Marzio Scholten. Deze bundeling van krachten resulteert in sterke indiepopnummers met dromerige melodieën en zo nu en dan dansbare grooves. De twee muzikanten liepen elkaar in 2017 toevallig tegen het lijf in de Ikea, ontdekten een gezamenlijke liefde voor songwriting en gear en de rest is al bijna geschiedenis. Afzonderlijk van elkaar hebben beiden inmiddels hun sporen verdiend in de Nederlandse muziekscene: Dorleijn als songwriter/zanger van de gelauwerde indieband Moss en Scholten met zijn werk als gitarist/bandleider van diverse projecten in de instrumentale muziekscene. In de zomer van 2020 verscheen het debuutalbum met daarop elf tracks, die in vijf sessies werden opgenomen in het Kytopia-complex.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
