One Song Competition

In aanloop naar festival ‘Qu’est-ce que c’est’ wordt in samenwerking met de Gerrit Rietveld Academie een One Song Competition georganiseerd, waarbij studenten worden opgeroepen nieuwe mengvormen te maken tussen muziek en beeldende kunst. De winnaar krijgt een plek op het festival. De One Song Competition vindt plaats tijdens ‘If I was a sculptor, but then again, no’, een symposium over popmuziek en beeldende kunst op 17 januari. Juryleden zijn o.a. Bianca Casady (CocoRosie), Kim Hiorthoy, Craig Shuftan en Femke Dekker. 

De selectie voor de One Song Competition: Franscesca Buratelli, G∆RTM∆LEN, Marelibervm, Missing Channel, STUDIO KINEMATIX, Nora Turato, Alfredah Síímii en Zachary Airhorn.

In preparation for the festival ‘Qu’est-ce que c’est’ there will be a 'One Song Competition in collaboration with Gerrit Rietveld, at which students will be called to make a new merge between music and visual art. The winner will receive a place at the festival. The One Song Competition will take place during the ‘If I was a sculptor, but then again, no’, a symposium about pop music and visual arts on January 17th. Members of the jury include Bianca Casady (CocoRosie), Kim Hiorthoy, Craig Shufta, Kim Hiorthoy, Craig Shuftan, and Femke Dekker.
