Oliver Anthony is een Amerikaanse countryfolkzanger die het liefst schrijft voor de werkende mens. In zijn muziek komen hierdoor thema's als loon, belasting en mentale gezondheid vaak centraal te staan. Dit is het beste te horen in de single 'Rich Men North of Richmond', die in 2023 viraal ging op YouTube. Na deze hit volgden nog meer singles, tot de songwriter in 2024 zijn debuutalbum 'Hymnal Of A Troubled Man's Mind' uitbracht, wat vol zit met dezelfde soort maatschappelijke teksten boven het geluid van Anthony's akoestische gitaar, basgitaar en viool. In 2025 staat de Amerikaan in onze Grote Zaal, waar hij samen met zijn trouwe snaarinstrument zijn sociale strijd zal laten horen.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
