Sinds een Obongjayar demo voor het eerst opdook op SoundCloud in 2016, is het duidelijk dat Steven Umoh, de man achter de naam, over een uniek talent beschikt. De in Nigeria geboren en in Londen gevestigde muzikant, die bij zijn vrienden simpelweg bekend staat als 'OB', schrijft opzwepende en spirituele teksten, terwijl hij een kenmerkende stem beheerst die varieert tussen rap, zang en gesproken woord. Met afrobeats, soul en hiphop-invloeden heeft hij een gedurfde, genre-overschrijdende muzikale stijl gecreëerd.

Bitterzoet is located close to Amsterdam Central station. From there you can walk to the venue. There are limited and busy parking lots in the area.
