Novo Amor is de naam van het muzikale project van singer-songwriter, producer en multi-instrumentalist Ali Lacey uit Cardiff, Wales. Novo Amor, Portugees voor Nieuwe Liefde, ontstond na een heftige relatiebreuk. Lacey trok zich hierdoor een zomer lang terug in de woeste natuur van de Amerikaanse staat New York. Het resultaat hiervan? Zijn doorbraak EP Woodgate, NY uit 2014 en zijn solo debuutalbum Birthplace uit 2018, waarop hij prachtige, rustige nummers zingt over de natuur, de zee, rust en de liefde. In het najaar van 2020 bracht hij zijn tweede soloalbum Cannot Be, Whatsoever uit. In mei 2022 geeft hij in het kader van dit nieuwe album een concert in Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
