Na het voorprogramma van Laura Marling én Laura Mvula in Europa te verzorgen, is Nick Mulvey nu terug als overtuigende soloartiest. Mulvey begon op zijn 18e met het ontdekken van de mogelijkheden van de gitaar en begon zo in zijn eigen tempo een unieke stijl te ontwikkelen. Geïnspireerd door Steve Reich, Paul Simon en Ali Farka Toure begon hij zijn solowerk uit te brengen. Dat resulteerde onder anderen in een Mercury Prize nominatie voor het album ‘Knee-deep In The North Sea’.
