De synthpopnummers van Nation of Language zijn energiek en tegelijkertijd hartstikke melancholisch, geïnspireerd door het geluid van vroege new wave en postpunk. Het is precies waar de kracht van dit nieuwe drietal uit Brooklyn ligt en waar ze door zowel luisteraars als blogs om worden geprezen. Zo labelde Stereogum de band als “immediately addicting” en beschreef NME hun muziek als “most exciting music coming out of New York”. De band wist in korte tijd al een hele stevige indruk neer te zetten in het altijd drukke New Yorkse muzieklandschap, en nu is het tijd om de rest van de wereld te veroveren.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
