Nathan Ball maakt alt-folk met een zomers gevoel en een donkere ondertoon. Zijn mooie soundscapes worden versterkt door zijn warme zang en stevige gitaarstukken. Zijn muziek is een fusie van twee passies: het klassieke liedjesschrijven zoals Paul Simon en Van Morrison en een sterke wil om te experimenteren. Ball, die in Londen woont, brengt vaak nieuwe muziek uit, waarvan een reeks akoestische nummers het meest recent is.
