De Nieuw-Zeelandse singer-songwriter Nadia Reid wordt vaak vergeleken met grootheden als Laura Marling en Joni Mitchell, waarbij vooral haar stemgeluid sterke overeenkomsten vertoont met dat van Mitchell. In 2015 maakte Reid haar debuut met het album 'Listen To Formation, Look For The Signs', waarin haar folkinvloeden duidelijk naar voren kwamen. Nu, met haar vierde studioalbum in aantocht, neemt Reid echter bewust afstand van deze folkneigingen. Ze wil zich niet laten beperken door één genre en verkent op haar nieuwe werk een voller, rijker geluid. Dit is duidelijk te horen op haar aankomende single 'Changed Unchained', welke alvast een voorproefje is van de muzikale richting die ze met haar nieuwe album inslaat.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
