Het Noorse duo Motorpsycho werd opgericht in 1989 en staat bekend om hun genre-overschrijdende stijl, die rock, psychedelica en zelfs jazz, pop en country samenvoegt. Hun muziek klinkt als een mix van intense riffs en complexe structuren, die variëren van rustige, melodieuze passages tot zware, krachtige stukken. Het duo bestaat uit Bent Sæther (bas, zang) en Hans Magnus 'Snah' Ryan (gitaar, zang), en wordt live aangevuld door een wisselende groep bevriende muzikanten. In het voorjaar van 2025 komt de band terug naar Amsterdam voor een concert in Tolhuistuin.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
