Het is bijna onmogelijk om de stijl van het Australische Mildlife in een genrehokje te plaatsen; hun muziek is een smeltkroes van psychedelische indiepop, jazz, funk, house en dreampop. De band bracht hun debuutplaat 'Phase' uit in 2017, drie jaar later opgevolgd door 'Automatic'. Beiden werden lovend ontvangen door de internationale muziekpers. Rolling Stone: ''While it’s easy for bands to fail to live up to the hype following a powerful debut, Mildlife may indeed be one of those rare groups who manage to exceed expectations, creating the record of a lifetime with Automatic." Op 30 april geeft de band een concert in Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
