Michelle David & The Gospel Sessions hebben al menig festival, popzaal en kerk in Nederland bekeerd met de liveshows rondom de releases van The Gospel Sessions-albums. Op het vorig jaar uitgekomen Vol. 3 klinkt de band veelzijdiger dan ooit. Hun unieke interpretatie van gospel komt volledig tot wasdom in combinatie met invloeden van soul, blues, jazz en afrobeat. Op Vol. 1 greep de formatie onder aanvoering van de Amerikaans-Nederlandse zangeres Michelle David vooral terug op de oorsprong van rhythm- en bluesmuziek, op de opvolger is al een meer soulvolle benadering te horen. Met Vol. 3 is de stem van Michelle David & the Gospel Sessions gevonden, zowel live als in de studio. “Get ready to be GOSPELIZED”.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
