Meridian Brothers is een experimentele band uit Colombia. Oprichter Eblis Álvarez schrijft, arrangeert, produceert, zingt en speelt alles zelf op de albums. Wanneer Meridian Brothers live otpreden, staan er echter een heleboel muzikanten aan Álvarez’ zijde. De muziek is bijna niet te omschrijven, het is een combinatie van elektronische en organische instrumenten met elementen van Latin rock en een flinke scheut psychedelica. Het totaalplaatje zorgt voor een soort Frank Zappa-achtige muziek en op deze manier heeft Álvarez in feite een heel nieuw genre gecreëerd.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
