Als een kruising tussen Nick Cave en Leonard Cohen, maar dan iets luchtiger en van Portugees-Iraanse komaf: zo klinkt singer-songwriter Mazgani. Americananummers die de zanger in perfect Engels en met een enorm veelzijdige stem brengt. Soms gekweld, getergd en raspend en soms weer vol, rond en troostend. Eind 2007 kwam zijn debuut `Song of the New Heart´ uit en in 2010 het tweede album ‘Song Of Distance’.
