De jonge Amerikaanse singer-songwriter Maya Hawke verweeft ingetogen indiefolk met verhalende teksten. Ze bracht tot nu toe drie succesvolle albums uit: 'Blush' uit 2020, 'Moss' uit 2022, en meest recentelijk 'Chaos Angel' in 2024. Hawke wordt beïnvloed door artiesten zoals Phoebe Bridgers en Taylor Swift, wat duidelijk te horen is in de oprechte schrijfstijl. Haar teksten verkennen vaak de overlap tussen realiteit en fictie, geïnspireerd door haar eigen ervaringen en emoties. Naast haar muziek-carrière is Hawke een opkomende actrice, bekend van haar rol als Robin Buckley in de serie Stranger Things. Ze speelde ook in films als Asteroid City en Maestro, en werkte samen met regisseurs als Wes Anderson en Quentin Tarantino.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
