Maurice Vincent Album Listening Session

There are moments in life when music becomes more than sound. It becomes a space, a place to arrive, to slow down, and to listen with a deeper kind of attention. On July 3, Mauríce Vincent presents his debut album The Echoes Within during a one-off listening session at Murmur. The album was created over years of exploration and recording, drawing from classical guitar, Brazilian traditions, spiritual jazz, and a deep attention to the rhythms of nature. The music unfolds as an invitation to return to the present, to reconnect, and to experience sound as something that echoes both inward and outward. 

Recorded with an orchestral ensemble and full choir at Abbey Road Studios Amsterdam, the album carries a warm and organic sound. During this session, the full work will be presented as intended, as one continuous piece, offering a first encounter in its most intimate form ahead of its live premiere at Super-Sonic Jazz Festival in November 2026. Murmur will be serving delicious food throughout the evening. After the listening session, the night continues with DJ sets by Palo Santo Discos, KC The Funkaholic, and Siem.
