MARO is een multi-instrumentalist, songwriter en producer uit Lissabon, Portugal. In 2018 debuteerde de Portugese artiest, en na vijf albums te hebben uitgebracht sloot ze zich aan bij de band van Jacob Collier voor zijn DJESSE World tour. Onlangs vertegenwoordigde MARO haar land op Eurovisie (2022) met "saudade, saudade", waarmee ze een plaats in de top 10 verzekerde. Haar nieuwe album "hortelã" brengt een intieme versie van haar meest recente nummers tot leven, en benadrukt daarmee haar kenmerkende folky, akoestische stijl. Dit album, dat voornamelijk in het Portugees is, werd opgenomen in trio met de Catalaanse gitaristen Darío Barroso & Pau Figueres.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
