Marc Broussard heeft de unieke gave om tijdloos te klinken. Geïnspireerd op klassieke soul, rock en rhythm en blues maakt hij platen die zowel nu, als veertig jaar geleden hadden kunnen uitkomen. Zijn vader, Ted Broussard, zat in The Boogie Kings en zodoende werd muziek met de paplepel ingegoten. Na meerdere succesvolle albums te hebben uitgebracht, besluit hij zelf platen en covers uit te brengen via zijn SOS Foundation (Save our Soul). Via deze weg steunt de artiest verschillende goede doelen. Broussard is te herkennen aan zijn unieke mix van soul, rock, blues, R&B, funkpop en niet te vergeten, zijn unieke raspende stemgeluid.

Komend najaar komt zijn nieuwe plaat 'S.O.S. 5: Songs of the '50s' uit. Waarvan de nummers 'Smile' en 'Hallelujah, I Love Her So' het levenslicht al zagen.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
