De slechts 23-jarige singer-songwriter Mae Muller uit Engeland maakt soulvolle popsongs, geïnspireerd door artiesten als JoJo, Dua Lipa en Jorja Smith. Mae groeide op in het artistieke en multiculturele Noord Londen en dat hoor je duidelijk terug in haar muziek: zo worden haar aanstekelijke beats en zangstijl beïnvloedt door reggaeton, R&B, soul en jazz. Mae noemt zichzelf een laatbloeier - ze schreef haar eerste eigen nummer pas 2 jaar geleden - maar het liedje bleek meteen een kickstart voor een succesvolle carrière: zo werd ‘Close’ meteen een hit op SoundCloud, bracht ze vervolgens diverse singles én zelfs al een debuutalbum genaamd ‘Chapter 1’ uit. Op 1 mei 2022 geeft Mae Muller een concert in Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
