Madison McFerrin geeft een hele andere dimensie aan het begrip "a capella". Haar soulvolle stem reikt van swingende funk tot zwoele R&B. Daarbij doet ze ook nog even haar eigen ritmesectie en achtergrondvocalen. Dat ze kan zingen laat Madison McFerrin duidelijk horen op haar twee 'Finding Foundations' EP's, die ze volledig a capella heeft opgenomen. Hierop volgde 'You + I', waarop ze haar tijdloze stem combineert met moderne producties. Questlove heeft haar muziek tot 'soul-appella' gedoopt. De singer-songwriter uit Brooklyn heeft haar talent niet van een vreemde: Madison is de dochter van Bobby McFerrin, bekend van de wereldhit 'Don’t Worry, Be Happy'.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
