British avant-pop artist, producer, and composer Maddie Ashman creates microtonal music from her bedroom in North London. She has amassed over 70 million views and a curious, engaged following of 500,000 with her alt-pop. She brings classical music techniques into the present, but don't expect dusty tunes—her music effortlessly takes you from breakbeats to electronica.

This innovative sound has already caught the attention of artists like Jacob Collier, Willow Smith, and Imogen Heap. She also opened for King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard during their European tour. On Thursday, September 17, she will bring her live show to the Bovenzaal.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
