De oorspronkelijk uit Cadillac, Michigan afkomstige Luke Winslow-King is een rock & roll-gitarist, zanger, producer en songwriter. Na meer dan 15 jaar in New Orleans te hebben doorgebracht, werd hij uitgeroepen tot ‘Beste Bluesartiest’ door Gambit Magazine. Zijn hit uit 2018, 'I'm Glad Trouble Don't Last Always' bereikte de Billboard Top 10 blues albums.

Het nieuwe album 'Flash-A-Magic' kwam eerder dit jaar uit en bevat onder andere de Toscaanse slidegitaar-maestro en co-producer Roberto Luti (Playing for Change) en organist Rev. Charles Hodges van de band van Al Green. De plaat werd gemixt door Grammy Award-winnende ingenieur Collin DuPuis.

Op 19 maart staat Luke Winslow-King solo in de Bovenzaal van Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
