De zeskoppige brassband Lucky Chops uit New York leerde elkaar kennen op La Guardia Arts Highschool in Manhattan. In plaats van samen te komen in een oefenruimte, koos de band ervoor om hun kunsten te vertonen op straat en in de metro. Dit werd gefilmd door een nietsvermoedende toerist, het filmpje werd gepost, ging volgens viraal op YouTube en voilà - een succesvolle carrière is geboren. De band staat bekend om hun energieke, dansbare shows vol verrassende covers. Zo staan er naast eigen werk vaak nummers van bijvoorbeeld Adele op de setlist.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
