Het tweedaagse festival London Calling presenteert twee keer per jaar veelbelovende bands en artiesten in Paradiso. Wat in 1992 begon als springplank naar het Europese vasteland voor Britse bands (Blur, Slowdive, Placebo) is inmiddels in meer dan 30 jaar uitgegroeid tot een showcasefestival voor bands van over de hele wereld. Door de jaren heen zijn acts als Blur, Slowdive, Fontaines D.C., The Murder Capital, Tame Impala, Japanese Breakfast en recentelijk nog Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party, STONE, Royel Otis en Heartworms in Paradiso geboekt, voordat ze deze locatie ruim ontgroeiden. Door deze scherpe programmering heeft het een naam opgebouwd als 'ontdekkingsfestival'; ontdek hier de volgende grote act voordat ze te groot worden voor zo'n intieme setting.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
