For this programme, in addition to a valid ticket, it is also mandatory to show a corona entry pass at the entrance through the Dutch CoronaCheck app. A European DCC QR code certificate in the country's COVID-19 app does also qualify. This can be a vaccination or recovery certificate, or a recent negative test result. In the case of the latter, visitors must schedule a free test appointment via testenvoortoegang.org. Other test results do not qualify. After taking the test you will receive the results within an hour and upon presentation of a negative test certificate in the CoronaCheck app you will then be given access to the venue. Please keep in mind a test may be up to 24 hours old when presented at the doors.

Can't make it to Paradiso? Follow this event through the livestream on live.summerdanceforever.com. Up until the judge rounds you can watch the battles for free, finals are € 5 (incl. service fee, excl. VAT).
Locking Forever is onderdeel van het internationale hiphopdansfestival Summer Dance Forever. De top 12 beste locking dansers komen naar Amsterdam en nemen het tegen elkaar op voor een driekoppige internationale jury bestaande uit de crème de la crème. Daar waar tijdens andere evenementen de jury comfortabel achter een tafel haar oordeel velt, bestaat die scheidslijn tijdens Forever niet. De laatste drie dansers mogen het opnemen tegen een jurylid naar keuze. De winnaar valt eeuwige roem en prijzengeld ten deel.

Als je deel wilt nemen aan de battle, moet je je eerst plaatsen in de online preselecties. De inschrijving sluit 22 juni. Minimum leeftijd voor deelname is 12 jaar.

Amsterdam is elk jaar in augustus de wereldhoofdstad van de dans. Naast battles waarin dansers het tegen elkaar opnemen, theatervoorstellingen van gevestigd talent, jonge en nieuwe makers, clubnachten met soulvolle dansmuziek en workshops voor alle dansstijlen biedt hiphopdansfestival Summer Dance Forever een toegankelijk en divers programma voor dansers en dansliefhebbers.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
