Met Laura Stevensons muzikale genen zit het wel snor: ze is de kleindochter van Harry Simeone, die met zijn koor het kerstlied ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ wereldberoemd maakte. Haar vader naam haar als kind vaak mee naar concerten van The Grateful Dead. Als muzikant is Laura een heel eigen richting ingeslagen. Op haar nieuwste album 'The Big Freeze' neemt Stevenson wat gas terug van de felle indierocknummers van haar vorige album 'Cocksure' en laat ons tot in detail kennismaken met haar duistere kant.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.
