L.A. Edwards ontstond ooit als soloproject van singer-songwriter en multi-instrumentalist Luke Andrew Edwards. Na alleen onderweg te zijn geweest, besluit Edwards zijn broers te vragen onderdeel te worden van een band en zo wordt L.A. Edwards geboren. Waar L.A. Edwards solo vooral in het folkgenre zat, produceert de band rockende Americana. In het geluid van het trio hoor je de onmiskenbare sound van klassieke rockgitaren, Hammond orgels, strakke drumpartijen en de twang van Luke's stem. In 2023 kwam derde studioalbum 'Out of the Heart of Darkness' uit waarop ze de veelzijdigheid van hun muziek laten horen. Eerder stond de band al in Paradiso als het voorprogramma van één van hun idolen; Lucinda Williams.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
