“Knits and Tits” aims to challenge traditional perceptions of knitting and reinvigorate the craft as a an empowering feminine art form. It seeks to redefine knitting as a medium for sensual self-expression. Through a fusion of artistry and eroticism, we aim to transcend persistent antiquated stereotypes and showcase knitting as a vibrant and empowering form of creative expression. This event isn't just about knitting; it's about embracing womanhood, intimacy, and the allure of knitwear in a bold and unapologetic manner.

Enjoy a lively evening with crafting, live music from The Klittens and a captivating performance by Judy Young. Immerse yourself in the world of textile art with a special expo, get hands-on with screen printing led by the Juultekent, and dive into an engaging talk by Club Geluk.

Adding to the excitement, we will be unveiling our much-anticipated sexy year calendar for 2025, which celebrates the essence of intimacy, womanhood, and the intricate beauty of knitwear. Each month captures a unique blend of passion and craftsmanship, inviting you to explore the artistry behind every stitch.

Pre-order the Knits and Tits calendar 2025

This project aims to raise awareness of the historically overlooked art form of knitting and crochet. Not just as a sign of love, but specifically crafting as a sign of self-love. This calendar will question the assumptions people associate with crafts like knitting and crochet and re-appropriate the historically feminine art form. In doing so, it also aims to give Knits and Tits women the space to express their sexuality on their own terms and to define for themselves what craft means to them. For the calendar, a group of 12 women have been selected to model in their own creations in an intimate setting.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
