Kaoru Ishibashi, beter bekend als Kishi Bashi, is een in Seattle geboren singer-songwriter en producer die bekend staat om zijn eclectische en innovatieve muziekstijl. Zijn nieuwe album 'Kantos', dat op 23 augustus 2024 zal worden uitgebracht via Joyful Noise Recordings, belooft een boeiende verkenning te worden van menselijke complexiteit en creativiteit.

'Colourful State', de hoofdsingle van zijn nieuwe album, is geïnspireerd door een groot aantal invloeden, zoals braziliaanse jazz en jaren 70 funk. Het album, zelf geproduceerd en gemixt door Tucan, bevat samenwerkingen met een diverse reeks muzikanten, waaronder Zorina Andall, Augie Bello en Linqua Franqa.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.
