Archy Marshall, beter bekend als King Krule, is een getalenteerde muzikale kameleon die zijn eigen stempel weet te drukken op alles wat hij aanraakt. Zijn muzikale reis begon onder de naam 'Zoo Kid', maar al snel veranderde hij zijn naam naar King Krule om zijn eigen artistieke evolutie te weerspiegelen. Sinds zijn debuutalbum '6 Feet Beneath the Moon' uit 2013 weet King Krule indruk te maken met zijn unieke en eigenzinnige stijl, dat niet in één hokje te plaatsen is. Dit heeft de muzikant uit Zuid-Londen voortgezet met zijn opvolgende albums 'The Ooz' en 'Man Alive!', waarmee hij wederom zijn muzikaliteit en creativiteit bewijst.

Inmiddels is King Krule een gevestigde naam, en heeft hij zijn muziek eigen gemaakt met zijn rauwe stemgeluid en hypnotiserende gitaarspel, waarin invloeden van onder andere jazz, punk, en trip-hop te horen zijn. In juni brengt de Brit zijn aanstaande album ‘Space Heavy’ uit, die de focus zal zijn van zijn nieuwe tour.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
