Het grote publiek leerde Kimbra in 2012 kennen als de ‘andere stem’ uit Gotye’s grote hit ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’. Dat ze veel meer is dan alleen de andere stem, bewees ze daarna op haar  albums ‘The Golden Echo’ en ‘Primal Heart’. Ze mixt pop met R&B, jazz en rock elementen. Onlangs kondigde ze haar nieuwe akoestische EP ‘Songs from Primal Heart’ aan. Een intieme EP met 4 nummers alleen uitgevoerd op piano, gitaar en contrabas. En bij deze EP hoort een net zo intiem optreden 21 maart in Paradiso Noord.Â

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
