Kid Congo is het pseudoniem van Brian Tristan, die onder andere gitarist was bij The Gun Club, The Cramps en The Bad Seeds. Het meest legendarisch album waaraan Kid Congo meewerkte, is het Gun Club-meesterwerk 'The Las Vegas Story'. De mysterieuze junglesound van dit album is nog steeds het geluid van Kid Congo en zijn huidige band The Pink Monkey Birds. Op het meest recente album 'La Araña Es La Vida' laat de voodoo gitarist horen nog steeds één van de besten in zijn soort te zijn.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
