Kenny Mason

With introspective and autobiographical lyrics, the versatile rapper and producer Kenny Mason paints a vivid picture of his childhood on the streets of Atlanta and his unstoppable drive for success. His music moves effortlessly between aggressive flows and melodic hooks, whilst his productions also go in all directions: from the punk and alternative rock influences on albums such as ‘Angelic Hoodrat’ (2022) and ‘9’ (2024) to the trap-driven sound of ‘Angel Eyes’ (2024).

On his latest album ‘BULLDAWG’, Kenny Mason brings all these influences together across fifteen tracks, featuring guest appearances from JID, Paris Texas and Dominic Fike, among others. Rap, rock and gospel blend seamlessly, as if these genres had always been related. At the same time, Mason explores themes such as success, loss, identity and faith, with heavy drums, distorted guitars and gritty trap regularly punctuated by surprisingly melodic moments.
